A*Muse*a*Palooza is Coming!
Mark your calendars for July 10 through 18th for A*Muse*a*Palooza 2009! This is the 4th annual event featuring the newest products from A Muse; one of our FAVORITE stamp companies!!

The theme for this year’s event is “Winter Wonderland.” Events will include make & takes, classes, door prizes, give-aways, and lots of fun, topped off with a grand prize!!!

Friday, July 10
The new A Muse stamps will be on display at 10:00 a.m.

Saturday, July 11
A-Muse Card Class: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. It’s an A-Muse-a-palooza Friend’z!!! This card class will be filled with lots of new designs, fun, friendz, and food! Call to save your spot. $45.00 includes lunch. Please bring your scissors and favorite adhesive.

A-Muse Card Class: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. $20.00. Join Linda and Sonja for a fun card class. We’ll make four cards using all new designs! Bring your basic class kit: adhesive, scissors, bone folder.

Thursday, July 16
A-Muse Card Class: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. $20.00. Join Linda and Sonja for another fun card class. We’ll make four cards using all new designs! These will be different cards from Tuesday’s class. Bring your basic class kit: adhesive, scissors, bone folder.

Amy Coon has Joined Our Design Team
If you’ve been to the store lately, you probably noticed some cute and unique projects designed by Amy Coon. Amy is a talented artist and has been published in Memory Makers Magazine online gallery, Creative Memories catalog, Paper Trends, and she is a guest designer for several online kit of the month clubs.

The projects Amy has designed are for sale and she is also happy to take special requests. Just call the store to arrange an appointment.

Friday Friend’z Crops are FREE!!!
We want to do our part in this rough economy by not charging for crops. Everyone needs time out to just relax and be with friends. Where else can you get an evening cropping with friends at no charge?

Our Friday Friend’z Crops are held from 6:00 p.m. to midnight! There are always munchies and a great time!

Get a group of your friendz together and join in the fun! Upcoming crops are:
July 24, August 7, 14, 21, 28. We need at least five croppers signed up to hold each crop.

August and September Card Swap
August’s swap theme is Get Well. Create cards for those who aren’t feeling so hot or are “under the weather” to let them know you’re thinking of them.

There is no fee to participate. If you want to participate in August’s card swap, please email Cathy Moews at robertmoews@msn.com or call the store by August 1.

Once we know how many will be participating, Cathy will let you know how many cards to make. The cards will be due at Scrapbook Friend’z by the 15th of the month.

If you’ve never done a swap, here’s how it works. Each month, those participating in the swap make a certain number of the same card and bring them to the store. When all the cards are received, you will get one of each person’s cards in return.

September’s theme will be “Just a Note.”
