Friday Friend’z Crops are Now FREE!!!
We want to do our part in this rough economy by not charging for crops. Everyone needs time out to just relax and be with friends. Where else can you get an evening cropping with friends at no charge?
Our Friday Friend’z Crops are held from 6:00 p.m. to midnight! There are always munchies and a great time!
Get a group of your friendz together and join in the fun! Upcoming crops are:
May 8 and 29. We need at least five croppers signed up to hold each crop.

June Card Swap
June’s swap theme is all about weddings.
There is no fee to participate. If you want to participate in May’s card swap, please email Cathy Moews at robertmoews@msn.com or call the store by June 1.
Once we know how many will be participating, Cathy will let you know how many cards to make. The cards will be due at Scrapbook Friend’z by June 15.
If you’ve never done a swap, here’s how it works. Each month, those participating in the swap make a certain number of the same card and bring them to the store. When all the cards are received, you will get one of each person’s cards in return.
A*Muse*a*Palooza is Coming!
Mark your calendars for July 10 through 18th for A*Muse*a*Palooza 2009! This is the 4th annual event featuring the newest products from A Muse; one of our FAVORITE stamp companies!!
The theme for this year’s event is “Winter Wonderland.” Events will include make & takes, classes, door prizes, give-aways, and lots of fun, topped off with a grand prize!!!

Cricut 101

Whether you are a new Cricut Owner or just want some practice, join Donna for a basic Cricut class. You’ll learn how to use the basic keys and buttons and the creative feature keys. You’ll also take home a “Hints and Tips” page.
Please bring: Cricut machine with blade, George cartridge (packaged with your machine), a cutting mat, and Cricut tools (spatula, scraper).
Cricut Expressions 101

Join Donna for an introduction to the Cricut Expressions machine. Learn how to use the basic and advance keys, buttons, and the creative feature and function keys. See larger characters made using 12” X 24” paper. You’ll also take home a “Hints and Tips” page.

Build a Better Bird with Wendy!

Are you ready to think outside the box?? Do you want to make a totally unique project? Would you like to venture into the world of mixed media with some help? Sound like fun? GREAT!
In this fun class we’ll create this adorable and funky bird and take our stamp art to the next level. You’ll be supplied with the bird and plenty of trinkets & charms to embellish this guy to your liking.
Have a favorite charm that you’ve been hoarding? Get it out & bring it. Adorn your bird & enjoy that charm every day! We’ll start by making the wings from grungepaper…a fun new product. You’ll choose the wing style you like…
The tail will be custom made too with grungepaper…again…you’ll have lots of choices, to make this guy uniquely YOURS!
At the end of this class, you’ll take home a ONE OF A KIND bird. Bring your camera…Each will be different…the possibilities are endless. Once home, you can take him off the base and add him to a different resting place…I’ll have some examples to show you in the class.
Please bring: Craft sheet, Adhesive…I like Art Glitter glue, Scissors for cutting grunge…tim’s tonic scissors are great.
Distress inks…blues, red & browns work well. The choice is yours …make the bird unique! Want a green bird? That’s great…think outside the box! Blending tools, Needle nose pliers…just small ones for bending wire…, A hemostat for working with jump rings.

Cricut Glass Etching and Vinyl Class

Etch a lasting memory. Join the fun by learning to glass etch. We'll be cutting vinyl and etching a clear glass plate using your Cricut.
The design will be a butterfly from the Home Accents cartridge. If you would prefer another design, bring the Cricut cartridge with the design of your choice.
Please bring: Cricut, Home Accents cartridge, Cricut mat and tools, bone folder, stipple brush, and Glass Etching cream, if you have it.
Ten Seconds Studio Necklace & Pins

Come and join Linda in a class to make a one of a kind gift for a friend, or a treasure to keep for you! This necklace is just too cute, and the pins are a treat to put together. Ten Seconds Studio metal is great to work with, and the molds make it easy to look like a pro. You’ll leave with 2 pins and a necklace that can hold tiny secrets or your shopping list.
